The FFMA believes firmly in the right of the public to have accessibility to information that they need to make informed decisions. All individuals are free to make a request to learn more about any organization or company under our regulation.
All those requesting information can contact our offices for information forms. All forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a valid name, address, phone number, state ID and a detailed explanation of why the information is needed. It is important for the request to be as specific as possible, to allow our staff the ability to extract the requested information as quickly as possible.
Please note that information requests can take up to 14 business days to process and an additional 21 business days until the petitioner will receive a response in full.
According to FFMA regulations, requests for information can be turned down when there is any evidence that it may be used for illegal or unwanted activity. In these cases, the FFMA will launch an investigation into the petitioner actions and work closely will law enforcement authorities to ensure that justice is perused.
10 Work Hours – Any request that requires of the FFMA less than 10 hours of working time will be free of charge.
10-20 Work Hours – Any request that requires of the FFMA between 10-20 hours of working time will be charged a flat fee of $200 USD.
Above 20 Hours – Any request that requires of the FFMA above 20 hours of working time will be charged a flat fee of $500 USD.
In the event that a petitioner is not satisfied with the results of FFMA findings or had a request rejected, they can petition for an additional review. Reviews can take up to 14 business days to be processed and an additional 21 days for the petitioner to receive a full response.
